Clinics We Offer
Antenatal
The surgery offers full antenatal and postnatal care, in conjunction with the community midwife. Clinics are held on Friday. Please note that the doctors do not attend home births. If you wish to have a home birth, you will need to make an appointment with the doctor to discuss this.
Baby and Child Immunisations
The surgery offers the full childhood vaccination programme for all babies and children registered with the surgery. You will be invited to bring your child to an immunisation clinic at the appropriate time.
Child Health
Child health including postnatal baby checks and full immunisation for all pre-school children. Development and health checks are given by Health Visitors and by the Doctor.
Cervical Smears
The practice nurses undertake cervical smear screening tests in accordance with the national screening guidelines. You will be invited for a cervical smear test periodically in line with this guidance.
Please note: Please do not book a cervical smear test independently of being invited for screening, as additional tests are not currently permitted by the NHS. If you have any symptoms you are concerned about in between your routine screening smear tests, please discuss your concerns with one of the doctors.
