There are two GP partners responsible for patients care and delivery of health care services to our service users. These are Drs Chand and Wood.

Dr Chand is a GP partner responsible for patients care and delivery of health care services to our service users. Dr Chand works Monday-Friday and has a half admin day on Wednesdays.
DR ADRIAN WOOD
MB ChB 2000 MRCGP
Dr Wood is a GP partner responsible for patients care and delivery of health care services to our service users. Dr Wood works Monday-Friday and has half admin days on Thursdays.

Training Tomorrow’s Doctors
The trainee doctors attached to the practice are: Dr Sana Adam, Dr Harnoor Khroud-Dhillon, and Dr Hannah Brown.
This practice has a visiting Trainee Doctor. We believe our general practice has much to offer doctors in training. The trainee doctor will be sitting in and participating in consultations with the doctors and nurses and may accompany them on home visits.You will always be told if the trainee doctor will be present PRIOR to your consultation and you will have the opportunity to REFUSE. This will not affect your care at all.
Other Doctors and Clinicians
There on some occasions when Locum and Agency GPs and clinicians will offer their support in delivery of patient appointments. Most of these are colleagues who work for the practice on regular basis.

The blood test clinics are supported by the staff from Lister Hospital. There are also appointments available for blood tests at Park Drive Clinic, Baldock. Please ask at reception for details.
Community Midwives
Providing care, support and advice in pregnancy and childbirth. The doctors at the surgery do not do home births but are involved with antenatal and postnatal care. If you are considering a home birth, please make an appointment with the doctor to discuss this.

Practice Management
The Practice Manager is responsible for all the business aspects of the Practice such as making sure the right systems are in place to provide high quality patient care, patient safety, human resources, finance, premises & equipment, and information technology. The Practice Manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with the delivery of patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.
Reception
Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries, dealing with financial claims, dealing with patient records and carrying out searches and practice audits.
Certain staff members have a working knowledge of languages including French, Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu, Gujarati and Italian.All our reception and admin staff are required to attend annual and regular training on modules relevant to their work with our patient population. These regular training courses are relating to patient Confidentiality and data security , Customer Care and H&S .
Secretaries
Responsible for general administration including patient referrals, private medicals and completion of Private and NHS health questionnaires.
