Our Main door is closed between 13.00-14.00 to allow us a protected time for catch up and handover between the morning and afternoon shifts. Our main phone line will be available for all emergency phone calls needing access to GP services that cannot wait till we return after 14.00.
In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and/or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
On weekdays, we close from 18:30 until 08:00 the following morning, and from 18:30 on Friday until 08:00 on Monday morning.
We are also closed for ALL offical Bank Holidays in England.
When closed, please ring 111.
NHS 111 is a confidential telephone advice line which is staffed by nurses and open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. If you have any health problems, an NHS 111 nurse will advise you on who you should contact for the right treatment, based on the symptoms you describe and the information you supply.
For deaf people or those hard of hearing there is a textphone service available on 18001 111. For those whose preferred language is not English, there is the choice of a confidential translation service.
Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
