Which Clinician Do I Need To See?
By Sarah.G
At Garden City Surgery, we pride ourselves on having different clinicians who can help you with a number of your health concerns. This means that when it comes to booking an appointment, depending on why you need one will affect who you’ll see.
Know that you don’t necessarily have to see a Doctor. We have many other clinicians who can help you with the same confidence as our Doctors.
Please find below a table explaining which clinician you see depending on the health issue you are experiencing.

It’s important to know some illnesses that you might be suffering from don't necessarily need to have an appointment at Garden City Surgery. Since January 31st 2024, Pharmacy First opened where patients can go to the pharmacy if they are struggling with uncomplicated urinary tract infections, ear infections, sore throat and a few more health issues. There are certain restrictions, such as age or sex, but it’s good to know that if there aren’t any appointments available at the surgery, your local pharmacy might be able to prescribe you some antibiotics.
And remember, when it comes to booking an appointment at Garden City Surgery, please be respectful to our receptionist when they ask you what you would like to discuss during the appointment; this is for them to make sure they book you with the right clinician. If anything is private, our receptionists will take that into consideration when booking an appointment for you. Kindly note, that we can only offer the appointments that are avaible at the time of booking.
